The Unconference

The Unconference is a day of panels, workshops, presentations and networking for those working in, or aspiring to work in the music industry, taking place as part of Live At Leeds 2017.

If you are involved in music at any level and hope to gain a better understanding of the music industries – as an artist, producer, manager, promoter, enthusiast or otherwise, you can come to our event to find out more from leading experts and professionals.

The event takes place on Friday 28th April from 10am to 6pm, across Leeds College of Music and The Wardrobe, and is free to attend.

This years’ Unconference will feature artist & industry keynote speakers, panel discussions on getting started in a music career and how streaming is impacting the industry. Meet The Experts sessions will return this year, where you can book a one-to-one meeting with music industry experts & professionals, as well as a new stream of “Industry Pitches” where industry organisations will present about what they do and how you can get involved with them.

Confirmed to appear are representatives from PRS, Beggars Group (XL / 4AD), Utah Saints, AIM, Temples (band), Arts Council England as well as an Artist & Managers Masterclass from Spotify, with many more to be announced before the event.

The Unconference is free to attend, but you need to register here in advance
